Save the date: AIDS WALK NY

Thanks to all of you who voted for us in the Time Out NY poll. I suppose that the results are being tabulated by a trusted accounting firm. Isn't that what is always said before awards shows? We don't find out until the presentation if who "gets the gold" and though we'll be plenty nervous (we really want to win!) in all likelihood we'll be at the open bar with the folks from Cupcake Stop. Rivalry is boring- comradeship is much more fun.

I'll have more information in a bit, but I wanted to let you know ASAP that we'll have a team for the New York AIDS Walk. So- put May 16 in your calendar now. You're walking with us, right? It will be a blast! I'll try to enlist the other food trucks to get their staff/patrons walking, and maybe some of the food blogs will send people too. It will be a great way to make some new friends and raise some dough.

Check out this New York Press article from last week. They really like us, but they single out our patrons as the best thing about the truck. You couldn't issue a compliment that we'd rather hear! So, let's get our fans and patrons together for the walk. 

Once I've got all of the online registration pages learned/set up, I'll share the info. If you haven't already registered for the walk, hold off until I say go- that way we'll be sure you sign up as a member of our team.
