New shirt

Bryan has been designing shirts that feature some of the funnier press quotes we've received. He has done a few new ones, and here is today's favorite.

New York Press wrote a fun article comparing us to the standard New York City ice cream truck. After you've read the article, located here, you'll understand the brevity of the quote on our new shirt. To simplify it even further we've had the shirt printed using a Braille font. Nothing makes more sense than having Braille printed on a shirt, right? I think that I love this.

Our ornament is making the rounds

It sure is fun to see our name associated with peculiar things, and our tree ornament is at the top of the "odd list." Earlier today the food blog Serious Eats included it in their Gift Guide For the Food Plush Toy Lover. Naturally we love our ornament best, but this weird buck-toothed ear of corn takes second place. Make sure you read about its... well, anatomical correctness.

To let you know- in a day or two I'm going to be publishing a blog entry about BGICT gift certificates. They'll be available via email if you have PayPal, and will make for a good stocking stuffer or last minute panic gift.

Make it a BGICT holiday

Oh man, this makes me delirious with rapturish feelings. We asked Alicia, BGICT's friend and star crochet artist, to come up with a limited edition tree ornament. You can hang it on your Christmas tree, Chanukah bush, Festivus Pole, or you can just hang it from your nose. Wherever you put it, you're going to laugh and sing and spin around like Wonder Woman each time you see it.

New shirt series

The press has graced us with some really wonderful quotes this summer. Bryan decided that it would be fun to start a series of t-shirts with some of these quotes printed on the back. We're starting the series with a line that appeared in HEEB MAGAZINE. The front of the shirt is our truck logo over the left chest, and the back is this:

Got a merchandising site that you recommend?

Our friend Jason is working a design for the BGICT. I want to have all sorts of swag made up. I've used CafePress for this sort of thing before, but quite frankly I think they suck. If anyone has an online merchandise vendor that they can endorse, I'd love to hear about your pick.
